The Rich Text Editor Tab contains options which allow the user to change the display mode in the Content Editor.

Preview

Select to enable the Preview mode in the Text field of the Content Editor. The Preview mode allows you to view but does not allow editing the text which has been previously entered into the Text field. In this mode the CSS styles are not applied in the Content Editor window itself. To edit the text, select the Show Editor button, which will open the Editor in the new window.

Editable

Select to enable the Editable mode in the Text field of the Content Editor. The Editable mode allows you to edit content directly in the Text field without opening the Editor. To edit the text, click inside the Text field. To open the Editor which provides rich editing functionality, select the Show Editor button, which will open the Editor in a new window.
